Mission
The Special Initiatives Program provides support for nonprofit organizations, primarily in Chicago, when exceptional one-time opportunities exist.
The McCormick Tribune Foundation, through its Special Initiatives Program, makes a significant impact in strengthening the Foundation’s hometown community – Chicagoland. Allowing the Foundation to be responsive to the needs of the community, the Special Initiatives Program seeks to support cultural, educational, social service, civic and health institutions.
