Robert R. McCormick Museum
The Robert R. McCormick Museum served as the country estate of the McCormick Tribune Foundation’s
benefactor, Col. Robert R. McCormick, until his death in 1955. The museum educates visitors on the
McCormick Family’s daily life and provides them with an opportunity to visit 27 rooms of this mansion–originally built in 1896–showcasing
family furnishings and collections of Chinese
and European art works.
