Guidelines
Grants are made from the Colorado Rockies Charity Fund in response to application from organizations serving the people or addressing the interests detailed in the Primary Interests section.

Primary Interests
Baseball and Softball
To promote participation in baseball and softball programs for people of ages abilities.
Education and Literacy
For support of education and literacy achievement programs for young people of elementary school age through college.

Youth Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention
To support effective substance abuse prevention programs targeted toward young people.

Health
To support programs dedicated to research, prevention or cure of disease.

Geographic Priority
Primary: Metropolitan Denver
Secondary: State of Colorado
Tertiary: Mountain Time Zone

Application Procedures
All requests for support require a completed application form to be received at the address listed above. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received. The foundation's Board of Directors meets quarterly and grants are authorized at these meetings and distributed shortly thereafter. There is no guarantee of annual support. Also, generally, grantees will not receive more than three consecutive annual grants.

The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Colorado Rockies.
