Organizations that focus on the health and welfare of youth and families through community awareness, treatment or preventive care, including nutrition and exercise, programs.

Recreation:
Organizations that encourage fitness, teamwork, self-esteem, leadership and positive role models through community outreach, youth development, organized sports or mentorship programs.

Geographic Priority
Primary: Orange County
Secondary: Southern California

Application Procedures
All requests for support require a completed application form to be received at the address above. Ducks Charities will accept grant applications during a designated time for its annual grant cycle. Agencies that meet the qualifying criteria; follow the guidelines; and submit a completed application package by the deadline date will be considered. Typically, the annual grant cycle accepts applications late-January to late-March, with exact dates posted on www.anaheimducks.com. Please check the website for application materials and more information.

All final decisions are made by the McCormick Foundation. The Foundation's board of directors meets quarterly and grants are authorized at these meetings and distributed shortly thereafter. There is no guarantee of annual support. The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
