Our Program Impact on Children
The McCormick Foundation has:
- helped over 8,300 at-risk children gain access to early childhood education programs in Illinois
- funded nearly $8 million dollars to 31 nonprofit organizations to promote quality early education, predominately in Chicago’s low income communities
- granted over $60 million to nonprofit organizations nationally to support quality, early-care education
- provided a grant to help the Chicago Public School System create 100 new high-performing schools
- helped 4,000 additional disadvantaged children attend summer camp in Los Angeles
